It\u2019s reliable and ergonomic and has helped us increase the sales of potatoes sold by weight. Agripo is by far our oldest unit in the store. Only my father, G\u00fcnter S\u00fcllau, is older,\u201d EDEKA dealer Hendrik S\u00fcllau says and laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agripo.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/hendrik-sullau.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-662\" width=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agripo.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/hendrik-sullau.jpg 500w, https:\/\/agripo.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/hendrik-sullau-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/agripo.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/hendrik-sullau-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/agripo.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/hendrik-sullau-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/agripo.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/hendrik-sullau-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the 1980s, Agripo has served customers and staff in the S\u00fcllau family EDEKA stores in northern Germany, and they have no plans to abandon this recipe for success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn my opinion, it\u2019s the most effective method of selling potatoes by weight. Since the introduction of Agripo, we can see an increase in sales of locally produced potatoes by at least 25 percent. In addition, Agripo offers easy and ergonomic handling for both customers and staff. What was previously associated with heavy lifting for the staff is now trivial \u2013 several hundred kilograms of potatoes can easily be handled by one person in a few minutes,\u201d says Hendrik S\u00fcllau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large\"><p>We can see a sales increase of locally produced potatoes by at least 25 percent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Sustainability and reduced plastic use are things that the S\u00fcllau family has worked with for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>We have always promoted the sale of produce by weight in our stores. The challenge of reducing the use of disposable packaging is something we take most seriously.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The trend is towards smaller households and more demand-based food purchases. For example, customers want to pick their vegetables themselves and don\u2019t want to be forced to buy more than they consume. With Agripo we can offer that opportunity. Customers choose their own potatoes and buy only as much as they need.
